I should clarify that the * is taking the place of the "link-adjacent" symbol that you insert from the "insert field" dropdown, when editing the output styles, bibliography templates. In my current version of Endnote, these and the singular plural tricks are all explained in under the help topic "Special Formatting Characters" Carina wrote: Dear Leanne, And is there a register of the "tricks" functions like the comma, or the asterisks as in "sous*la*dir."?
