Hi All,
I must surely be overlooking something here, as I am trying to have a
hanging indent as of the second paragraph and on and don't seem to
get it done.
EndNote X1 - Word 2002
Style EMBO (slightly adapted)
What I get is:
Angell, J.K. (1988) Relation of Antarctic 100 mb temperature
and total ozone to equatorial
QBO, equatorial SST, and sunspot number, 1958-87.
Geophysical Research Letters, 15, 915.
What I want to see is:
Angell, J.K. (1988) Relation of Antarctic 100 mb temperature
and total ozone to equatorial
QBO, equatorial SST, and sunspot number,
1958-87. Geophysical Research Letters, 15, 915.
While formatting the bibliography, I select "Hanging Indent" in the
Layout tab of the "EndNote X1 Format Bibliography" popup.
The hanging indent is currently set at 3 cm, it shoulde be really
visible, but no indent appears.
The Style is set to "Hanging indent: All paragraphs but first" in the
layout tab of the Bibliography item in the Style determination.
It's possible to have the hanging indent on the bibliography from Word
itself, but then every time I reformat the bibliography
the indent has to be recreated.
Hope someone has any suggestions on how I can get the indent to appear
while formatting the bibliography.
Thank you in advance,
plj

Wouldn't you then expect not to see a hanging indent on the first para
of the bib?

I don't see any reply to this inquiry other than an observation. As
another user noted, I can't see why you wouldn't want the first
paragraph to also have a hanging indent in the layout of the
bibliography. Are the rest of them okay? Are you sure that the first
line intent field in the format bibliography layout tab is 0.00, and the
hanging 0.30? Otherwise, it seems that your settings are correct and
iit seems to work fine for me in ENX. Any ENX1 users out there to test
this?
Leanne
