abbreviated journal article citations
Author: Troy Sagrillo    Posted: Thu, 24 Jan 2008 13:29:06 -0500
Hello

how can I set up a footnote style to do the following?

1. The initial citation of a journal article has the article title:

M. B. Rowton. "The Woodlands of Ancient Western Asia." JNES 26
(1967):235.

2. The citations thereafter have only the Author, year, journal, vol.
and page

M. B. Rowton. JNES 26 (1967):235.

I realize that I can put the journal name or abbrev. in the "short
title" field, but I would rather not. Are there any other solutions?

Thanks!

Troy
