This seems like such a silly question....
I've just upgraded to End XI, and I every time I try to insert a
citation from the reference I have open, I get an error message: "There
are no references selected in the frontmost EndNote library." Each
time, I need to CLOSE the reference, and then insert the citation, then
go back and open it up again so I can continue adding notes. (I am
working simultaneously on notes within the reference and a document
outline...pretty normal operating procedure for me.)
I'm guessing there is some preference that I had checked previously,
which I now can't find. The help file doesn't seem to address
this...probably just too simple and obvious!
