Unless things have changed (I am still on X), CWYW searches cannot be
customized, you can't search for a specific Author by the name of Hu,
for example any field that has the 2 letter combination "hu" will come
up. Hence I rarely search in CWYW, and always jump to the library.

Subject: Finding citations within "custom" groups in EndNote X1
Hello,
In a recent EndNote X1 instructional session, a student using CWYW
wished to search only a "custom group" she had made within a library.
However it seems that one can only search an entire library. Is this
true?
If one stays within EndNote, one can specify a custom group to search by
opening that group, selecting "Search References," clicking "More
options," and selecting "Search showing references." But I can't find an
analogous limit with CWYW...
Does anyone have suggestions/solutions?
Many thanks for your assistance,
