I made this request to Adept Scientific and was told that it had been
passed on for further development in EndNote 12.
Otherwise it's a case of continuing to use the Keyword or notes fields
to add such information (which of course can be searched using CWYW) and
changing the display to enable sorting by Keyword/notes.
I hope we do get this extra functionality as otherwise users will have
to duplicate information.

Subject: Finding citations within "custom" groups in EndNote X1
Hello,
In a recent EndNote X1 instructional session, a student using CWYW
wished to search only a "custom group" she had made within a library.
However it seems that one can only search an entire library. Is this
true?
If one stays within EndNote, one can specify a custom group to search by
opening that group, selecting "Search References," clicking "More
options," and selecting "Search showing references." But I can't find an
analogous limit with CWYW...
Does anyone have suggestions/solutions?
Many thanks for your assistance,
