How to Quickly Insert En Dashes (APA Style) Within a Reference
Author: Chick Katsu    Posted: Fri, 26 Jan 2007 14:58:23 -0500
Thanks for the tip, Peter. Unfortunately I'm using a notebook computer
so there isn't any keypad and I don't have a peripheral keypad to plug
into my notebook. :(

But I did manage to figure out how to create a Term List in EndNote to
contiain the en dash and other diacritical marks I need - so I can now
access this list while in EndNote and incorporate the markings as needed
while entering my references.

Again, many thanks for your time and help.

Chick

Hi Chick

What I do is to enter them with the numeric keypad.

Make sure Num Lock is on.

Hold down an Alt key, and type 0150 on the keypad (don't use the numbers
at the top of the keyboard).

Release the Alt key, and your en dash should appear.

HTH
