EndNote 8 - should we upgrade?
Author:    Posted: Tue, 11 Jan 2005 17:36:53 -0500
Dear colleagues

I have been asked whether we should upgrade our computer labs, teaching resources etc to EndNote 8, but have heard a
lot about problems with this version. What is the general feeling here - is it now "safe" to upgrade? Most of our
computers will be running Win XP, some with, some without SP2

thanks
John

I understand that the second Windows patch (EndNote 8.0.2) is due for
release next week. When that happens, we will have to do some intensive
testing and make a final decision about EndNote 8.
