I'm a fairly new user of EndNote (8.0, for Mac, with Word 2004) so forgive
me if this is peurile or has already been noted.
I've been reading the digests and have noticed much talk of 'link to PDF'
and 'URL' fields not working. So far it has worked fine for me. I create
the reference (putting nothing in the 'link to PDF' or , then control +
click in the library screen under the paperclip symbol. This brings up a
menu - I choose "link to", then navigate to the PDF in question, and click
open. Then when I go back to the reference and open it up and scroll down,
the path and filename has appeared in the URL field (not the link to PDF
field.)
Is this not what everyone else does, or am I particularly lucky?
