EN 8 and WP hangs

Dear listmembers,
I recently added several entries to the "Change Case" list in EN 8.01
(I'm using Word XP). When I format a file, EndNote hangs. When I remove
the new entries from "Change Case," it formats properly.
Has anyone else had this problem?
A little more information: There are only 5 entries in the list to begin
with, and the entries I tried to add are three roman numerals, II, III,
and IIIa. I'm using WinXP-sp2.
