Transfer Endnote libraries between PC and Mac

Hello We have a query here where one member of the team uses Mac Endnote and another uses PC Endnote. If they are working on the same version of Endnote, does the Mac Endnote Library file work in PC Endnote? I tend to think not. Yes, the Mac and PC can open the same library. In fact thru endnote 7, any version on either platform. For endnote 8, both platforms must be using endnote 8. Just make sure that the Mac file has the appropriate file extension added on the end of the file name.
