Further to a previous inquiry, someone has been kind enough to test the
transfer of the RefTypeTable.xml file across platforms in EndNote 8.
The good news is that it is transferable. On the Mac, the file is located at:
user/library/application support/EndNote
On the PC, it is located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\JSmith\Application Data\EndNote\
So if you modify your reference types in EndNote 8 on a PC, and you want to
share those modifications with colleagues who use a Mac, you can copy this
file for them.
