David: I had this exact problem about a year ago. Its cure is a setting in the OS X system. The following solution was suggested to me on the EN list by Here it is (Thanks, Louise!). I have no idea what this does, but setting it this way has had no negative impact on anything else, and it cures the EN problem. Eric

There's a Mac system setting you need to change that will fix this. I have Jaguar so if you have Panther the location may have changed...

Go into your System Preferences:Keyboard:Full Keyboard Access tab. Make sure the radio button "Text boxes and lists only" is selected; selecting "Any control" causes this bug to appear.

Hi!

A member of the UCSF faculty I work with has reported the following problem
with the PubMed Connection file:

> I have had a chronic problem with EN6 or EN7 (even worse): when I try
> to do a "2nd" PubMed Search, it freezes, and I have to escape and start
> over. No fix despite many conversations with EN tech support.
>
>Mac OSX 10.2 and 10.3.

Any advice or solutions?

Thanks
