Hi,
our experiences with the Mac Version are similar:
When a colleague and I tested Endnote 8 for Mac OS X, we were very
interested in its Unicode capabilities.
Within the first ten minutes, we had about eight error messages (COM
exceptions, Service Error: Generic etc.) - I cannot remember when
something like this happened last time (I guess it was with Endnote 6).
Using the CWYW-feature takes endlessly.
Furthermore, to convert databases into Unicode capable databases, you
will have to replace some characters to use this new feature. Guess
what - the "Any field" entry was pulled from the "change text" menu
entry!!!
Well - just got Bookends 7.7.5 for Mac OS X.
All the best -
