endnote 7 and word xp

Does anyone know why endnote 7, and 6 for that matter, would cause word
xp to crash when i select 'format bibliography'? No info on endnote web
site, and it is important i get this to work tonight.

I have just had this problem. It was a very large document which had
been revised by a number of authors, sequentially and had track changes
on. Don't know why, but I finally rebooted, copied the whole document
except for the references (and that pesky last paragraph sign) to a
clean document, accepted any tracked changes (which leaves the comments,
thank goodness), turned off tracked changes (and would have turned off
cwyw, but it was already off), selected all, unformatted the references,
reformatted the references, and it all worked fine. I think there must
have been some corruptions somewhere in an endnote reference. I haven't
found anything weird anywhere yet.

Has anyone encountered problems with EndNote 7 and Wordperfect version 11?
I've re-installed WP and Endnote and downloaded the add-in" ... but no luck!
Please help / advise
