I remember doing something manually with WP 7 and 8 (I have no experience
with other versions) under WP95/98. You have to edit the Windows registry,
which is always tricky, so make a backup first! A utility in the Corel
Suite (comes with WP) is "Corel settings", which is a tool for editing the
registry; there are other registry editors.
In order to do the thing for, say, WP8, look at the registry structures and
open the part H_KEY_CURRENT_USER. This opens a tree structure looking like
a lot of sub-folders and you go into that folder structure until you come
to H_KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\WordPerfect\8\Third Party
In here you add a new value (use the menu at the top of the screen to do
this.) Specify the new value as being a "Corel string". Call it DLL1 and
give it the value "C:\Program Files\EndNote\ENWP32.dll" (include the
quoteation marks; I assume that this is the pathname of where that DLL-file
is to be found; check its presence and precisely folder location first. I
assume also that we're talking about the 32-bit plugin, i.e. that you're
integrating EN with WP7 or 8; possibly it would also work for WP6 for
Windows 95).
Save the new setting. That should do the trick.
THIS IS TRICKY WORK. IF YOU MESS UP THE REGISTRY IT COULD AFFECT THE
PERFORMANCE OF YOUR COMPUTER. If you're not confident maybe somebody with
experience in registry editing can help you.
