If you include URLs in your citations, and you are using a two-column
style, then the URLs come out looking awful, because the lines are all
too long.
Is there a way to convince Word to break an EndNote-created URL at a
slash character without inserting extra hyphens that would make the
hyperlink invalid?
I tried to manually edit the citations, but I found that I would have to
change each hyperlink to normal text, one at a time. With a lot of
citations, this gets very tedious, and of course, once you have done it,
you can't let EndNote reformat the bibliography again.
I would have thought this a common enough problem, but I searched the
EndNote archives and couldn't find any discussion on this.
Any suggestions?
