You can view a single EndNote library on your Palm or Pocket PC handheld devices. The EndNote for Palm or PocketPC option should be installed when you installed EndNote. Check your handheld device to see if the EndNote application was added. To download an EndNote library to your PDA, follow the directions below, depending on your PDA type:For Palm OS: System Requirements: Palm Operating System 4.x or higher; serial or USB communication for HotSync operations; and 16 MB RAM, with at least 8 MB available. If you installed EndNote and then installed your Palm application software: Install EndNote for Palm OS in one of two ways: ? Run the EndNote installer again, choose Modify, and select EndNote for Palm OS to install. ? From your Windows Control Panel, choose Add or Remove Programs, click Change, and install EndNote for Palm OS. To configure EndNote for Palm OS components for a specific user: If you log into your computer from an account that is different from the account used to install EndNote, you must register EndNote for Palm OS components as described below. 1. Log on to the workstation as the current user. You do not have to be an administrator.2. Launch the configuration utility. From the Windows Start menu, choose All Programs>EndNote>Configure EndNote.3. On the Welcome screen, select Configure EndNote for me and click Next. 4. On this screen: a. Select ?Configure EndNote for Palm OS Support.? If Palm Desktop software is detected, this option is selected by default.b. Click Next. 5. On the Final Installation Complete screen, click Finish. 6. Sync your PDA to load the program.For Pocket PC: System Requirements: Windows Mobile handheld device, such as a Pocket PC (not including Smartphones); Windows Mobile operating system 5 or later; serial or USB communication for ActiveSync operations; and 16 MB RAM. If you installed EndNote and then installed your Windows Mobile application software: You can install EndNote for Windows Mobile in one of two ways:? Run the EndNote installer again, choose Modify, and select EndNote for Windows Mobile to install. ? From your Windows Control Panel, choose Add or Remove Programs, highlight EndNote, click Change, and install EndNote for Windows Mobile. To add a library to your PDA: 1. From the Tools menu in EndNote, select Configure Handheld Sync2. Select an EndNote library from the existing drop?down list or use the Browse button to locate your library3. Click OK to save the setting 4. You must then sync your PDA to add the library
