Leanne-
If you do have to go back to PubMed and find your articles again, the easiest way that I have found to do this is by the PMID--if you saved this information in each record. You can string all the PMIDs together in one search, for example:
16177251 (PMID) OR 12727581 [PMID] OR 15211325 [PMID]

The manual discusses importing of information in the format you
describe, but if you have access to pubmed, it is usually easier to
import it from their. You also get additional information including URL
links and abstracts when available. The other method really depends on
whether you can parse out with word's search and replace features- the
different parts of the references. Having a student generate the library
is good way to go! Using keyword searches and such from pubmed might
also point you to some literature previously missed as well.

I am a new endnote 9.0 user with lots to learn. I have a sizeable
literature search that has been previously saved in a document file on
my system. Is there any way to import these articles by subject from
this file or must I find these articles again through PUB-MED and import
them that way?
