When I try to make a connection using one of the supplied connection files,
I receive an error message "file Not Found". Yet all the connection files
are in their proper place. This only happened two days ago, and I do not
know what to check. Can anyone give me some guidance? thank you.

I am using EndNote 5 on an iMac running OS X int he
Classic environment, and also the beta of EndNote 6 in native OS X mode.
Both versions were able to make Connections using their built-in Connection
files until two days ago. Now the EndNote 5 works fine, but the beta of
EndNote 6 does not. When I try to make a connection in EndNote 6 using one
of the supplied connection files, I receive an error message "file Not
Found". Yet all the connection files are in their proper place. This only
happened two days ago, and I do not know what to check. Can anyone give me
some guidance? thank you.

Hi,
I just installed Endnote 6 and I'm having the same problem, i.e when
I try to connect I get the message "File Not Found".

Has anyone got any idea what is going on? Has anyone got connections
working on a Mac with Endnote 6 and OS X?

Adrian

I use Endnote a lot to index books and journals. I am interested in learning your favorite free connections (not including Pubmed or Library of Congress):

For books:

For journals:

Does anyone have any other free connections that they would like to share, that are not included on the Endnote website?

Thanks!

Many of the university web sites (trial and error) are free- so books
are often there.
