We have created a connection file for Amicus, the union catalogue of
Canadian libraries. To access this database, you need a username and
password, which can be obtained free of charge from the National Library of
Canada at:
http://amicus.nlc-bnc.ca/amicus-bin/self_register?l=0
Amicus is a very large database. Searches for common terms will be slow and
may time out. If your search retrieves more than 500 results, only the first
500 will be returned. The "All Fields" search option is particularly slow.
The connection file can be downloaded from our website at:
http://www.library.uq.edu.au/endnote/connect.html
The file is in Windows format. To create a Macintosh version, use the
appropriate utility from the University of Maastricht website at:
http://mac.unimaas.nl/endnote.html
