Author Date citation problem
Author: Gordon McKenzie    Posted: Thu, 22 Aug 2002 15:47:01 +0100
Don't know if anyone can help:

When citing in author date style, i.e. within the text it would be cited
as (McKenzie, 2000) and so on, if I make the citation within a table, I
find that there is often a duplication of the last two characters, with
the duplicate characters inserted within the pair duplicated. Sorry,
that's not clear, what I mean is I would end up with:

(McKenzie, 2000)0)
^^
where (as long as you are reading this in courier or other monospaced
font) the two indicated characters are those that have been inserted
incorrectly. Which is strange as you would think it would be the last
two, not them. Also strangely, it is quite possible to simply delete
them using backspace, but they often come back next time CWYW goes thru
the document. Very strange.

I am using v.6, Word 2000 with all service packs, and Win XP Home.

Hope someone can help,

Gordon
