Dear Shane,
Endnote is good, but not human. Just how would you expect any computer
program to pick that one up? If you have suggestions, I am sure the
programmers would be glad to consider them. I think the way it works, is a
marvel!

Subject: Formatting APA
Hi
I am having some difficulty using using Endnote 4 for my PhD
thesis. I need to use APA formatting and EndNote does not appear
to do this very well. In particular it will not format the authors if they
are cited as part of the narrative. i.e "According to Smith (1998)
there is ...". I know you can remove the author from the endnote
reference and it will just do the year, but this creates more work
and does not do et. al. formatting, corecct spelling etc.
Is there anyway around this? Does EndNote 5 fix this problem?
