Subject: Line instead of author's name in footnote

Hi! I'm using Chicago 15th A style.   I'm trying to insert a footnote that refers to a different work by the same author as the preceding footnote. Endnote has suddenly started putting a line instead of the author's name. Any suggestions how to fix this random aberration?
