Dear Windows EndNote Users, Beta testing for our next Windows release of EndNote is in progress. We still have room in our beta test program for more testers! If you a registered owner of EndNote X or later, now is your opportunity to apply to become a beta tester. Besides the above requirement, please note the system requirements and other information below. * Prospective testers must have access to a computer running one of the supported operating systems and the proper permissions to install software. For Windows the supported systems will be XP SP 3 or Vista SP 1 (32- or -64 bit). * Prospective testers must have access to the Internet and a valid e-mail account. All communication is handled via e-mail and bugs are reported using Bugzilla, which is a web-based tool. * It is desirable to have Microsoft Word for testing Cite While You Write. Supported versions of Word will be 2003 and 2007 for Windows with the latest service pack installed. * It is highly desirable to have a strong grasp of EndNote's current features and functionality. Prior experience beta testing is a plus. Beta test cycles last about 10 weeks with releases at two-week intervals. We ask that you not apply to beta test if you will be gone for more than two weeks during that time, as timely feedback is crucial during the testing cycle. EndNote users who meet these criteria can apply to be a beta tester by filling out the form at http://www.endnote.com/testing. We will contact eligible users via e-mail. Note that users selected for beta testing will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which states in part that beta testers cannot discuss any information regarding the beta product in Thomson Reuters forums or elsewhere until the product release is publicly announced. Beta testers may be awarded a complimentary copy of the released version of EndNote. Complimentary copies are sent out at the discretion of the EndNote Team and are based on quality of feedback and extent of participation. Thank you for your support of EndNote.
