Trojan Malware.CONP
Author: Joris Lieftinck    Posted: Mon, 14 Apr 2008 17:52:16 -0400
Hi all,

I found UnPalm.exe in my EndNote/Palm folder being a trojan called
Malware.CONP.
There is an ENPalm.exe as well in that folder. Therefor it seems to me
that UnPalm an undeleter is for the ENPalm-program.
Might this trojan be a false positive found by Norman Virus Control?
Or could UnPalm be infected by this trojan. Can I simply replace UnPalm
with the version at my installation disk? Or can I even delete the whole
folder Palm from my pc since I don't use a palm computer?

Thanks,
JRE

Thanks Leanne,
I followed your suggestion. The problem often is, that one doesn't know
what parts of an installation is necessary, and what parts are not. In
this case one can guess the right thing. Thank you again, JRE

If you don't use it, delete it or uninstall it, or when you are
installing endnote, do the custom install and don't install the Palm
software. I never install anything I don't need! why waste the space.
