Formatting stops midway through process
|Formatting stops midway through process

|Thanks to those who responded to my query on why my Endnote 7 may be quitting midway through formatting citations in a large (20MB+) MS-Word document.
Without reformatting the document I found that (a) hiding embedded notes and (b) initiating the citation-formatting process from Endnote, rather than from MS-Word, enabled successful formatting to occur.
For the record, the computers on which I am working:
P3 at 850 MHz, Centrino at 1.7 gHz
512MB RAM on each
Windows XP Pro and XP Home
MS-Word 3000 on each
The document has 99 graphics and photos and all together comprises 829 pages. References make up 28 of those pages.
A few months ago I stopped using CWYW and instead format the document in one swoop only before printing drafts.
