Greetings listers,
Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off all text formatting in
reference records so that if you copy and paste from, say, a web page,
that all the styles, links etc do not port across?
Or is there at least a way to select the text which is formatted and
revert it to plain text (or font defaults) in a simple step, removing
all colours, styles, fonts, links etc?
I've found it really frustrating trying to do this. My solution so far
has been to copy the text from it's source (a web page), paste it into
a plain text editor or drag it to the desktop as a clipping, the copy
and paste that into the endnote reference field. Laborious to say the
least!
Katy

I seem to remember that if you select the text and ctrl (apple key?)
+spacebar, all the text should revert to the default font style.

Thanks for the idea Leanne.
Unfortunately those key combinations don't do anything for me in En8.
And I can't even seem to find anything about formatting in records
within the Help files. Formatting help seems to only have been written
for CWYW and general citation info.
