With Endnote 4 there should be one called electronic source. There is a field for the URL in the reference type called electronic resource; it is near the end of the record. But the URL is not put into citation when printed. The Electronic Resource does not use the URL in the citation. But as you can see below, a number of styles *do* insert the URL: In Chicago A style: Associated Press. U.N. Ranks Quality of Life [Web page]. New York Times, June 29, 2000 [cited June 29, 2000]. Available from http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/i/AP-UN-Rich-and-Poor.html. In APA Submitted style: Associated Press. (2000, June 29,). U.N. Ranks Quality of Life, [Web page]. New York Times. Available: http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/i/AP-UN-Rich-and-Poor.html [2000, June 29,]. In Turabian Bibliography: Associated Press. U.N. Ranks Quality of Life. New York Times, June 29, 2000. Accessed June 29, 2000. Web page. Available from http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/i/AP-UN-Rich-and-Poor.html. It seems that the Life Sciences styles tend to exclude the URLs for some reason.
